Scout meetings are off this week for the holidays. Check back next week with Cub Scouts Lucky Pack 7 for your elementary schoolers and Troop 1G(irls) and Troop 26 (Boys) for your middle schoolers and high schoolers. These scouts spent last week helping Troop 1G Scout Cherry with her Eagle Project,
A Thanksgiving Food Drive for Clay Family Residence, a Greenpoint homeless shelter. Cherry partnered with St. Stans Academy and Met Foods Supermarket, and organized +40 volunteers this past weekend to work info-donation tables in the biting cold. Cherry's personal efforts resulted in +900 donated cans of food. This, combined with hundreds of cans collected by St. Stans, helped not just Clay Family shelter but also, several other shelters, North Brooklyn Angels and St. Mary's. So proud and inspired by this amazing young woman and her compassionate Eagle Scout project!
