Did you know that this Saturday is World Migratory Bird Day? Join a few special bird walks in Carnasie Park and Prospect Park with NYC Audubon. There's also a weekly Intro to Birdwatching Walk offered by the Brooklyn Bird Club every Saturday for all ages.

There're also many other free greenstatic events! Join a historical walking tour of Domino Sugar, a Brooklyn waterfront walk, a nature discovery hike, and the 11th Annual Kings County Fiber Festival. The crisp fall weather is perfect to cuddle under a blanket and enjoy outdoor screenings of Jurassic World Dominion and Cinderella.

Take the kiddos to a urban wildlife-hike-and-crafts session, and a concert by Suzi Shelton.

Check out Cub Scouts Lucky Pack 7 for your elementary schoolers and Troop 1G(irls) and Troop 26 (Boys) for your middle schoolers and high schoolers. By the way, these scouts are going camping again this weekend. What fun!

Roll up your sleeves to weed, mulch and beautify our parks, community gardens and cityscapes: Bushwick Inlet Park, Cooper Park, I.S. 318 Projects Roots Community Garden, Leif Ericson Park, Marine Park, and Red Hook Recreation Center. Get informed and engaged with the monthly Brooklyn Community Board 1 meeting.
